BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING
PURCHASES OF 2 DOUBLE CABIN PICK-UPS
PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NO: NITA-U/SPLS/11-12/00020
1. The National Information Technology Authority Uganda (NITA-U) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of 2 Double Cabin Pickups.
2. NITA-U invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of 2 Double Cabin Pick-ups.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from National Information Technology Authority Uganda (NITA-U) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 9(a) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting 26th September 2011.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address in (7) below, upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX. 100,000/=; to the Cashier – in the Finance at NITA-U Offices, Level 1. The document may thereafter be collected from the address in 8 below; during working hours from 26th September 2011 upon presentation of proof of payment. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
6. A Bid Security amounting to 3 million (3,000,000/=) shall be required.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8 at or before Monday 31/10/ 2011 at 11.00am. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the NITA-U Boardroom at 11:10 am on Monday 31/10/ 2011.

PROVISION OF CANTEEN SERVICES TO NITA-U
Procurement Reference Number: NITA-U/SRVCS/11-12/00025
1. The National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Canteen Services to NITA-U.
2. The National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Canteen Services to NITA-U.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.
4. Interested Eligible Bidders may obtain further information from National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in (7) from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday except Public Holidays.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders on the Submission of a written application together with a receipt of payment upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000/= to the Cashier, Finance Division at NITA-U offices. Bidders will only be issued the bidding document upon presentation of an Original Receipt of payment. The document will be physically collected from the address at (7) below.
6. Bids must be delivered and registered to the address below in 7(a) at or before 10.00 am on Friday 26th October 2011. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 1,000,000/= Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below in (7) at 10:10 am on Friday 26th October 2011.
