East Africa Information Security Conference -5th edition

ISACA Kampala Chapter, in partnership with NITA-U is holding the 5th edition of the East Africa Information Security Conference on the 16th & 17th of August 2016 at Hotel Africana, Kampala.


The theme for this year's conference is "Sustaining Business Growth Through Effective Cyber Security Strategies".


Attendees will interact with thought-leaders, learn about the latest trends in the world of information security and have opportunities to network with over two hundred professionals.


Keynote Speakers include Justice James Ogoola: who will tackle the sensitive topic "Privacy vs. Security; Exploring the trade- offs between National Security and Access to Information". Mr. Peter Kimbowa will also discuss "Professional career success; it is not always black and white"


The conference will cover a number of topical issues including fraud & forensics, cyber security, risk management, data privacy & legislation-Government,internal audit as well as career development.


Members of professional bodies that attend will be able to earn up to 15 CPE hours.


Registration: Fees are UGX 400,000 for ISACA members and UGX 450,000 for non-members.
